We here at My Doggy sincerely hope that all of our treat-eaters had a happy and safe Fourth of July. All of the excitement, especially the noise caused by fireworks, can be concussive on the ears. If you’re ready to move on to the peaceful, quiet, and relaxing art of burying your nose in a good book — let us supply you with some interesting reading material. Summertime is Sale Time.
We’re taking 10% off of the price of our Honey Sesame flavor through 7/31/17. That’s any size of Honey Sesame. Moose, our resident taste tester, gives this flavor his highest rating. And, that reminds us of two more things: First, we have another new Moose-approved flavor coming out this month. Second, we want to expand the ranks of our taste-testers.
The new flavor is Beef Potato
– Training Treat size.
It’s a part of our ever expanding protein line. Some of you are already familiar with Beef Potato, thanks to our friends at Bark Box, who included it as a selection in their most recent Bark Box collections. That was the sneak peek. The world premiere is set for Monday, July 24th, for those who aren’t subscribed to Bark Box, for general audiences, and, most importantly, for those of you who won’t give your dogs any treat that isn’t from My Doggy. Have we told you how much we appreciate those of you in this last category recently?

Your dog is probably a one in a million dog, but if you want it to be one in a hundred, you will have to act fast. One hundred canine taste testers will get samples of our latest flavors. If we get more than a hundred volunteers, the additional dogs will be placed on a waiting list, in case some of our other taste testers have to drop out. 
We’re thinking it will be on a quarterly basis, but it may be more often than that. Owners of taste testers will get a survey of five or six questions that we’d like to have answered and returned to us. This Q&A can even be done by email, if you’d like.
To enroll a taste testing dog, send us an email. Address it to customerservice@doggy2.stlgo.com. Put your dog’s name followed by a space and the text “Wants to Join My Doggy’s Taste Testing Board of Advisors Today (Woof!)”or something similar in the subject line to make sure you’ve got our attention. Include a physical address in the body of the message, so we know where to ship the samples to. It’s that simple! Sadly, we have to limit participation to only those dogs living in the United States of America. We hope the rest of you will understand.
Holiday Flavors
And finally, looking to the distant future, many months from now — or at least three of them — some gentle reminders or suggestions, if you will. What could be better than Pumpkin Carob treats at Halloween? Or Turkey Sweet Potato around Thanksgiving? And, of course, we’ll have our Stocking Stuffer (5 oz.-sized) bags out in plenty of time for of time for the capital-H Holidays. Gingerbread anybody?
